The main theme of the park is the sea, referring to the main features of the city of Sousse.
The water here manifests itself in different ways, by the water of the fountains at the great square, by the waterfall overlooking on the other terraces, by the drawing on the ground of the walkways, by the layout of certain hedges evoking with their undulating movement and the color of their bloom, the waves of the sea, and a dry river that emerges in the gardens of the park.
A linearity is emerging to open up on the current horizons. This linearity which is induced directly from the site topography, gives to the park, its true spatial dimension. It organizes the park. We find a green amphitheater (grassed area stepped planted with some trees), a large square gently sloping, pathways along the terraces which are home to specific areas of relaxation with pergolas in a rose garden.
Around this main theme spread lawn, slopes, playground areas, gardens, birds space, etc.
The shape, the layouts, the visual openings and, of course, the landforms have a major role in the structuring of space.
The park is designed in a multitude of places to live, theater stage or large square, meeting place, specific and intimate places despite their opening.
The heritage project is essential to preserve traces of human works that are hre the Ghabas. Indeed, these are elements of identity to preserve, restore and enhance.
This results in various areas: a large area for special events and a permanent occupation, thematic gardens, games for all: Skate board, cycling, basketball court, playground areas for children with an urban furniture discreet and specific.
Traffic in the park is through a direct and principal aisle, 5 m wide which serves the entire park and allows the movement of vehicles and fire services when needed.

By closing the visibility of space at left by the continuity of one and same species of trees which grows rapidly and presents a elongated enough bearing, allow to guide the eyes towards the entrance which is offset from the center the building.
With this line of trees, the blind wall that closes the perspective is attenuated.
An association of Phoenix dactylifera and olive trees adorn this space
by combining the scale of the building to the horizontality of the place. The regular layout creates a transition between the layout of the entrance and the style of the traditional garden.
The roses would reinforce the game of visual barriers and of the transparency, while revealing the identity of the specific characteristics, of the nuances of aromas and of the delicacy of the gardens of the houses of Tunis.
The mesh composed with olive trees and palms aims to imitate an orchard, in which the users can combine business with pleasure in a space of contemplation, of relaxation and of walk, through the use of antagonistic concepts such the notions empty and full, contrast of shape and of dimension like the static bearing of the olive tree and the dynamic bearing of palm, ...
The vehicular entrance of the building at the southwest side, is framed by a double row of Phoenix dactylifera adorned at the ground by a massive floral of Cuphea.
The fountain is treated considering the entire space and to enhance the culmination of a view overlooking the Boulevard of 9th April. A gradient of plants with different heights and colors and a succession of uniform levels are a solution to the existing scales imbalance between building height and the proximity of the fountain.
